Dad's finger

Yesterday night, while at the rodeo, our family noticed our dad running away from the bucking chutes where he was helping the bulls. We immediately knew it was bad, because he wouldn't leave for anything else in the world. We all rushed over there to help...

I guess he was helping save this guy from a bull that was about to trample his rider for like the 3rd time, and the bull ended up kicking him and his hoof came down on my dad's finger and tore the whole top of his pinky completely off. We spent a lot of time at the hospital yesterday. (My mom, me, and my grandma and grandpa.) But anyway, we found out that his pinky is dead, but he can still use it and it is still attached to his hand. Although, for the rest of his life one of his fingers will be completely flat and torn off at the top. The bone inside is fractured into a million pieces... so the white stuff you see in the picture is actually bone. Haha hope this is a warning to all you people out there that think riding bulls is fun...
